The center has a central plaza with saltwater pools and 'swim-up' style bars. There are several jewelry stores and many small shops selling ubiquitous souvenir items. One cool thing to see at the Costa Maya cruise port is the Dance of the Flyers Ceremony. If you are an aerial dance fan, this is the Mexican Pre-Hispanic tradition you must see. Probably one of the first aerial dancers in history were the Papantla flying men. It's definitely one of the fun things to do in Costa Maya.
